Hi, I'm Michelle McCue MAR, I am a loving wife, mummy to 2 gorgeous boys, my beautiful step daughter and the proud owner of Tranquillity. My passion and love for Reflexology began when I was pregnant with my eldest boy, I had never experienced that level of relaxation before and fell in love with the therapy instantly!!! It gave me instant relief from common aches and pains linked with pregnancy particularly sciatica. I firmly believe that it gave me the space and time I needed to prepare my body and mind for a successful delivery of my beautiful boy. I just couldn’t get enough of it and actually I still can’t! Since that point, Reflexology has been a huge part of my life and when I got the opportunity to complete my training I couldn’t wait to get started so I could share the incredible healing powers of the therapy and bring balance and calm to others. In this busy world it is so important to take some time for yourself, and Reflexology is the perfect way to allow your body to deeply relax, rebalance and restore the natural equilibrium, as well as calm your mind and soothe your soul. You will be warmly welcomed into a safe, warm, comfortable and peaceful sanctuary where you can fully switch off from the day-to-day stresses that commonly surround us these days. My wish is to support you as a whole, to lift your spirits and restore balance and harmony both physically, emotionally and mentally. I cannot wait to meet you!

Do you know all the bits I get up to behind the scenes?

Some days it looks like packing up Tropic orders and making sure every little detail is just right.

Other days it’s checking in on appointments and clients, then moving straight into the treatment room to do what I love most. Creating calm, holding space and helping you properly switch off.

There are Tropic nights for my regular clients too, with new faces always welcome.
Lovely evenings of skincare, chats and a bit of self care time together.

In between all that, I’m creating gorgeous voucher gift box orders and dreaming up new, luxurious treatments for you to indulge in. The kind you leave feeling lighter, softer and totally reset.

It’s busy, it’s varied and I wouldn’t have it any other way 💜

Sleep...It’s not always as simple as “just go to bed early and catch up”.

Lately, I’ve been struggling with a bit of insomnia myself, so when I say I get it, I really do. It’s frustrating when you want to slow down, rest more and prioritise sleep, but your body has completely different ideas and just will not cooperate.

Busy minds.
High cortisol.
Personal stuff.
Work stress.
Aches and pains.

There can be so many reasons, and that’s exactly why it helps to have a few gentle tools up your sleeve for when you know you need to focus on you.

Meditation.
Journalling.
A massage or facial.
A ten minute lie down.
A quiet walk.

Sometimes one thing works beautifully, and next time it doesn’t. Having a few options can ease the pressure and help you feel a bit more patient with yourself.

I use this self heating sleep mask on clients during treatments because it helps distract the senses and encourages deeper relaxation. You could try similar things at home too, scented candles, calming music, soft lighting, anything that signals to your body that it’s safe to slow down.

I mainly wanted to say this. If you’re struggling with sleep, you’re not alone. We all go through phases 💜

Sometimes it isn’t about pushing through.

A softening.
A quiet exhale you didn’t even realise you were holding.

So much tension can live in the body when we’re avoiding something.
A conversation.
A feeling.
A boundary.
A moment of rest.

This is your gentle reminder to take a moment today.
To check in.
To notice if there’s anything you’ve been pushing aside or telling yourself you’ll deal with later.

It won’t be easy.
And it might feel uncomfortable at first.

This year I decided to start differently.
I put together a small community with the intention of beginning 2026 in a more positive, caring way. Less pressure. More presence.

The group has been better than I could have imagined.
The women inside it are truly making it something special,
and I’m so grateful to each of you for showing up with such openness and care 🤍

One of the simple reminders I shared was this.
Sip a warm drink slowly.
No phone. No rushing.
Just warmth and presence.

It might seem small, but moments like this can soften the nervous system more than we realise.
A pause. A breath. A chance to arrive where you already are.

If January feels heavy or full already, let this be your gentle reminder that a softer start still counts.

A gentle reminder of what this season is really about.

January invites us to slow down, to take deeper breaths,
and to spend time with the people and practices
that help us feel grounded again after the busyness of the year just gone.

There’s no rush to leap forward.

This month can be calm, comforting and restorative.
A time to reset, to soften the body,
and to give yourself permission to move at a gentler pace.

When I read this quote, the line “the touch of a friendly hand”really stayed with me.

It can be as simple as giving yourself a gentle hand or foot massage at the end of a long day, rubbing your partner’s shoulders or head to ease away tension,
or allowing yourself to receive care through massage or reflexology.

Sometimes that touch is something we give,
and sometimes it’s something we let ourselves accept.

Let this season meet you gently 💜

Signature Face Reflexology is one of those treatments that feels like a complete reset for your skin, your mind and your nervous system.

Your treatment begins with a gentle cleanse using natural oils and warm towels, followed by a soothing facial massage to soften the muscles and help your body settle into a restorative state. From there, I work across specific reflex points on the face, applying gentle pressure to support balance, relaxation and emotional release.

You’ll then drift into a calming Gua Sha ritual designed to ease tension, boost circulation and leave the skin looking lifted, brighter and beautifully refreshed.

I welcomed my very first official client on 19th September 2019,
and I remember feeling so full of excitement.

I had found something I truly loved,
and I couldn’t have been more passionate about reflexology if I tried.

I’ll be honest though, in those early days I felt nervous every single time a new client arrived.
That little flutter before opening the door.

But the moment we started talking,
especially about how wonderful reflexology is,
those nerves melted away.

One of my favourite early success stories still makes me smile.

A lovely client found me through a Facebook group
after being in a car accident that left her with
shoulder damage and very limited movement.

We began a six week course of foot reflexology
and after just a couple of sessions
her pain had reduced and movement felt easier.

By week four she was almost back to full movement.
She was amazed, totally hooked, and went on to become a regular client.

Moments like that reminded me exactly why I started.
And they still do.

leading into something exciting in early April.
