Strong relationships aren’t created through grand gestures alone - they’re built through small, consistent moments of connection every day.

A quick check-in, genuine appreciation, a hug before work, or putting phones away during conversations can strengthen emotional intimacy more than people realise.

Healthy relationships grow when both people feel seen, valued, and emotionally safe. 🌿

Even the hardest days don’t last forever.

When everything feels heavy, it’s easy to forget that change is still happening - quietly, gently, in the background.

Healing isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like getting through the day.
Sometimes it looks like resting.

The light always comes back 🤍

You don’t have to be “at your limit” to deserve support.

A common misconception is that you only call a therapist when the house is on fire. But therapy is also for the quiet moments - when you’re curious about why you react certain ways, when you want to set better boundaries, or when you just want to feel more “at home” in your own mind.

Think of it as a dedicated hour to untangle the knots of your week and get to know yourself on a deeper level. No crisis required.

It’s rarely actually about the bins.

The reality? Those small, repetitive frictions are usually just the surface level. Beneath the “nagging” or the “switching off” is often a much deeper need to feel seen, respected, or supported by our partner.

When we’re stuck in the “Who did what?” cycle, we miss the chance to talk about the “How are we?”

In therapy, we step back from the specific argument to look at the pattern. Once you understand the pattern, the bins (or the washing, or the school run) stop feeling like a battlefield.

Walk & Talk Therapy 🌿

Not everyone feels comfortable sitting face-to-face in a therapy room.

Walk & Talk Therapy offers a different approach.
We walk side-by-side in a calm outdoor setting while we talk.

Being in nature can help you feel more relaxed, open, and grounded.

It can be helpful if you:
• Find it easier to talk while moving
• Feel anxious in traditional therapy settings
• Enjoy being outdoors
• Want therapy to feel less formal

Walking can naturally help conversations flow and create space to reflect.

Sessions take place in a local outdoor setting and follow the same confidential and supportive approach as traditional counselling.

If you’re curious about whether Walk & Talk Therapy might suit you, feel free to get in touch 💬

Your attachment style shapes how you love, communicate, and protect yourself in relationships.

It can show up in the way you respond to conflict, how safe closeness feels, and the patterns you repeat - often without realising.

Understanding your attachment style is the first step. Healing it is where change happens.

I offer couples counselling to support healthier communication, emotional safety, and deeper connection 🤍

As the new year approaches, it is important to remember 2026 doesn’t have to be ‘new year, new me’.

Counselling isn’t about fixing who you are - it’s about understanding yourself with compassion.
Growth starts with awareness, not pressure.
