Patient & Family Support Hub The Patient and Family Support Hub is a volunteer service based at the University Hospital Southampton (UK).

We offer support to any UHS-registered patient, their families and carers, with a variety of different services provided by a volunteer team.

Our amazing team of volunteers who kindly supported with a very busy day at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust yesterday, from tea rounds and providing comfort to patients facing long waiting times in A&E, to delivering equipment to help support discharges. This week had this wonderful feedback from a lovely patient who used our service regularly during his admission University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust . Our volunteers regularly took him to M&S, to our Hub, and to join our activities. Fortunately he is now being discharged to continue recovery at home❤️
