Our fully-trained, compassionate and caring team has created an exceptional residential care home in Southampton equipped with 38 bedrooms, nine of which can be found in our specialist dementia care unit, The Cottage. Located on a quiet country lane in the rural village of Woodlands, nestled in the peace and tranquillity of the New Forest, Woodlands House also lies within easy access of the City of Southampton and the South Coast

This afternoon we had Colbury Church visit us, we sang hymns and prayed together. We also did some more Christmas decorating!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas🎄✨
We’ve been getting into the festive spirit this afternoon putting our Christmas decorations up in time for our big ‘Christmas light switch on’ Monday 1st December at 4pm - everyone is welcome!

This morning we enjoyed Jiggy vintage here at Woodlands. There has been lots of singing, dancing and laughing!

A little round up of week so far here at Woodlands! We have enjoyed a quiz with our lovely volunteer Jennie, keep fit, lots of chats, church visit and we have also started getting ready for Christmas and making our Christmas tree of wishes🎄. We also celebrated international men’s day yesterday where some of our men gave some advice for the younger generation!

This morning we had a visit from Testwood Baptist Church. We sang hymns together, prayed and had chats with our residents

Big shout out to West Cliff Hall Residential Care Home for supporting us this week whilst our kitchen floor was being replaced. The food was lovely! Residents throughly enjoyed themselves!
