Woodlands House is a truly elegant country residential home set in its own extensive grounds and beautifully landscaped gardens. Our fully-trained, compassionate and caring team has created an exceptional residential care home in Southampton equipped with 38 bedrooms, nine of which can be found in our specialist dementia care unit, The Cottage. Even with the rain pouring down this morning, nothing could dampen our spirits 🌧️💪
Curtis joined us for our weekly Thursday keep-fit session in lounge and cottage lounge, and as always, it was full of smiles, movement, and plenty of friendly chats with our residents.

We had a creative morning at Woodlands House! 🎨

Today we were joined by Alison from Creative Mojo for a wonderful art session inspired by Valentine’s Day. Our residents enjoyed painting beautiful hearts and decorating them after, chatting with each other, and getting creative with colour and imagination.

It was a relaxing and joyful morning, and the finished artworks look fantastic✨

This afternoon we were delighted to welcome the wonderful belly dancer Giorgia from Taste of Cairo (UK’s leading belly dance agency) to our home. She treated everyone to a beautiful performance and took time to interact with each resident one-to-one, creating lots of smiles and special moments.

We even joined in with some seated dancing, moving along to the music and enjoying the fun together. It was a joyful, engaging afternoon that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! 💕
