The below service review, from one of our former clients, makes us appreciate what an amazing team we have and how committed they are to delivering an exemplary caring service.
"Due to my mothers deterioration in health I found myself requiring the services of a company providing high quality home care. After speaking with a trusted friend, she recommended to me Waterside Homecare Services and, after hiring them, I can understand why.
From the start of the process up until their services were no longer required, all I can say is that their approach, as well as the services they deliver, are exemplary. My mother had been in hospital for a while before the service actually kicked in. My farther was contacted regularly by office staff to check up and make sure everything was OK, even before any contract was signed. Superb customer service.
During the time care was in place, my mum received 4 visits per day, each visit was two members of staff in attendance. Without exception, each of the carers that assisted with mum approached the situation with the care, dignity and compassion that, I hope, all of us would expect to receive in that situation. As I was living with my mum at the time, each and every member very quickly became like extended family to me. Kind, caring and with a smile on their faces, you couldn’t ask for more. I have had experience of a care company that, when time was up, that was it, they were off. Whilst I do understand commercial pressures, not once did a member of Waterside Homecare consider leaving until the job was done and Mum was comfortable and pain free, irrespective of how long it took. Extremely reassuring.
All of the ladies understood the situation I was in personally as well and regularly “checked up” with me too, to make sure I was OK. Whilst I was lucky enough to have a significant amount of support from friends and neighbours, it was really comforting to know that I was being looked out for too. There was one occasion where an evening out was really important to me and “extra” cover would have been required. The senior staff did all they could to make sure that could happen, which it did.
Whilst my mum did sadly pass away, I feel totally at ease knowing that the care she received in her last few weeks was second to none.
I can’t thank Waterside Homecare staff enough for all that they have done over the last few months, and I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a situation similar to mine. They are definitely a special group of people."
