Shortage of Team numbers 12.05.2025

Hello, **Warning**
Please be patient with us. We anticipate falling behind in our dispensing as we struggle with team numbers at the moment. We have two sick (one undergoing chemo), two retirees and some on annual leave while our new recruits are serving out their notices in their current roles.

Our current team numbers are less than half of our usual workforce and they’re coming in on their days off, working into the night and covering any spare hours while listening to the soundtrack of Rocky on repeat, electrocuting themselves as soon as they feel they’re slowing down and drinking plenty of steroid shakes! If they work any harder, they’ll be swapping work uniforms for spandex, leotards and sweat bands…

We will be understaffed for about two weeks but despite the odds, we will ensure a seamless service as much as possible. So, please bear with us if deliveries may be slightly late and clinics are not on time. Please wait for text messages before coming in and call us first regarding any emergencies.

I have ordered the leotards and sweat bands in preparation - the PPE for all super busy pharmacy team members!

We’ve given our phone answering system a rather sophisticated makeover. It now responds with the grace of a Mayfair maître d’ and hopefully will go down like a well-poured G&T with all our patrons. 🏥 We are pleased to announce that we’ve successfully vaccinated over 100 vulnerable people and are still accepting bookings and walk-ins for NHS and private patients.

From the 12/4 we are vaccinating those immunosuppressed from 6 months but currently we are still vaccinating:
• Over 75s
• Care home residents
• Immunosuppressed patients over 18+
