*The Opportunity*

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic Content Creator Apprentice who is also keen to learn the optical industry from the ground up. This is a multi-skilled apprenticeship role, combining content creation with hands-on training as a Trainee Optical Assistant and Trainee Lab Technician.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creativity, working with people, and learning practical, technical skills in a retail and healthcare environment.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Content Creation & Marketing
• Create engaging content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, website)
• Assist with filming, editing, and photography
• Help plan and schedule content aligned with promotions and campaigns
• Write captions, hashtags, and basic marketing copy
• Research trends and contribute creative ideas

*Trainee Optical Assistant Duties*

• Greet and assist customers in-store
• Support dispensing staff with frame styling and selection
• Learn basic optical terminology and product knowledge
• Book appointments and manage customer queries
• Maintain a clean, professional retail environment

*Trainee Lab Technician Duties*

• Assist with glazing and preparation of spectacle lenses
• Learn basic lab equipment use and safety procedures
• Support frame repairs and adjustments
• Carry out quality checks under supervision
• Help maintain lab organisation and stock

*What We’re Looking For*

• A strong interest in content creation and social media
• Friendly, confident, and customer-focused attitude
• Willingness to learn technical and practical skills
• Good attention to detail
• Basic understanding of social platforms (Instagram/TikTok)
• No prior optical experience required – full training provided
