Some great tips here for hay fever. I take nettle as a supplement and it works really well if you take it consistently on an empty stomach.
Do you suffer with Hayfever around this time of year?
Here are 5 tips to help you manage seasonal allergies naturally:
1. Source some local honey and take a spoonful a day in the couple of months leading up to and during your usual hay fever period
2. Try drinking nettle tea - it’s one of nature’s natural antihistamines and can help to relieve symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes and a runny nose
3. Boost your immune system with supplements such as magnesium, quercetin, turmeric, vitamins A, C, D & E, NAC and probiotics and/or the homeopathic remedy, A.Vogel Pollinosan… even better, instead of guessing, go and see your local kinesiologist so they can muscle test you and find out EXACTLY which of these your body will benefit from!
4. Reduce your intake of dairy to reduce mucous production which will make symptoms worse
5. Up your intake of garlic - it’s best eaten raw and is a natural anti-inflammatory and antihistamine. If you can’t stomach that, try taking garlic tablets. Not only will it boost your immune system, it also acts as a natural decongestant and can help to relieve symptoms.
6.....a bonus tip! Even better is to book in with your nearest kinesiology practitioner so that they can work with you to address the root cause of you hayfever!
