At Rownhams Manor Care Home, it's the little moments that mean the most. Yesterday, a new puzzle brought together two residents who hadn’t met before — and shortly during the activity, a lovely new friendship had formed. 💛

Today was all about cuddles, creativity, and community spirit!

Our wonderful residents rolled up their sleeves and suffered dressed and made a heartfelt wish with some adorable teddy bears each one full of love, laughter, and a sprinkle of personality.

It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, share stories, and craft something truly special. These teddies aren’t just soft and snuggly they’re handmade memories. 💛

We had some very woolly guests join us!

today two friendly goats came trotting in to spread joy and cuddles! Residents were delighted by their gentle nature and curious personalities. From petting to a few cheeky nibbles on shoelaces, the goats brought laughter and warmth to everyone this morning.

Moments like these remind us how powerful animal therapy can be lifting spirits, sparking conversations, and creating memories that linger long after the visit ends.

Thank you to our furry friends and their handlers for such a magical experience. We’re already counting down to their next visit! 💚

We’re delighted to share that our supporters at Rownhams Manor Care Home took on the incredible challenge of abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower – raising an outstanding £992.50 in support of South Central Ambulance Charity 🚑👏

🦎🐛 National Creature Day at Rownhams Manor! 🐌🕷️

Today we were greeted by some delightful bugs and creatures, and our residents absolutely loved it! From curious millipedes to gentle toads, the experience sparked joy, laughter, and plenty of fascinating conversations.

💬 “It reminded me of my childhood in the countryside!”
💬 “I never thought I’d hold a tarantula—but I did, and it was amazing!”
💬 “It’s lovely to see everyone smiling and learning something new.”

These wonderful visitors brought nature right to our doorstep, and the therapeutic benefits were clear—sensory stimulation, shared stories, and a whole lot of smiles. 🥰
