Tessa first joined us for her very first class in June 2021. She returned for a week in June 2022, and then in January 2023 she began practicing regularly. Since then, she has been part of the studioโ€™s journey as it has evolved, and her steady presence and willingness to keep showing up have been a joy to witness.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Beyond the classes, Tessa has also built genuine friendships with members of the teaching team outside of the pod. Itโ€™s been lovely to see those connections grow naturally over the years.

This session will focus on creating stable foundations, intelligent mobility and strong support through the body, allowing backbends to feel more powerful, safe and sustainable. Expect a dynamic, energising workshop with drills, technique and plenty of guidance.

The workshop is led by one of our wonderful teachers who has been part of our community for over 5 years, consistently helping students refine and progress their practice through a grounded and thoughtful approach to movement.

Among them are a student, a mum, a hardworking young woman serving as a trustee for a local charity, a mentally bulletproof lady currently going through radiotherapy, and a woman who works within the prison system every day.

Yet beyond these roles, daily life continues. Caring for others, keeping homes running, showing up for family, friends, and work โ€” all while holding space for the people around them.

What they all share is something powerful: they choose to take a moment for themselves too. Theyโ€™re brave (and maybe a little crazy!) enough to step into our womb-designed pod and practice yoga together.
