This Sunday 8th March, which also coincides with our Pause Retreat, I’m celebrating International Women’s Day with a powerful theme: Give to Gain 💜✨

As a trained Menopause Movement coach, I’ve chosen to share my knowledge, my support, and my evidence-based expertise to the 13+ million women in the UK navigating menopause — because when women gain strength, confidence and vitality, we all rise 🙌

Menopause isn’t “just a phase.” It impacts body composition, energy levels, mental health, mobility and even injury risk. It can affect confidence and the ability to stay active. And yet, so many trainers and health professionals receive little or no formal guidance in this area.

That’s why I’ve invested in specialist training. I understand the multi-faceted complexities of menopause and how crucial it is for women to maintain lean muscle mass, stay strong, and protect long-term health 💪

I’m here to give you science-backed knowledge, tailored support, and practical strategies to help you feel strong, capable and empowered at every stage of your menopause journey 🌿

A glimpse of the foods I have been rinsing and repeating 🔁

I’m in a dieting phase right now which may mean fewer cals to play with but lots of great nutrition.

Finding the foods you love and repeating those can help you. Takes the decisions out of daily life which leaves more head space for other things.

If your in Perimenopause the overwhelm can be debilitating. Making life easier to manage is key. One way to help you do this is to write a weekly menu plan, organise breakfast and lunches for a couple of days at a time and shop for what you need.

You’ll save time, money and work towards your health goals all in one move 🙌

Build your plate with a portion of protein, a fistful of carbs and half a plate of veggies and you can’t go wrong.

Staying fuller for longer and avoiding sugar crashes helps alleviate perimenopause symptoms too - palpitations, anxiety, overwhelm, hot flushes, fatigue and joint pain can all be affected by what we eat.
