🚨📣✨ A Big Welcome to Our New Physiotherapist, Gehad! ✨📣🚨

We’re excited to introduce Gehad, the newest member of our physiotherapy team.

Gehad qualified with a BSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Kafr Elsheikh University in Egypt in 2020 and brings both strong clinical knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care.

She has a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and return confidently to the activities they love. Her treatment approach combines hands-on therapy with personalised exercise programmes to reduce pain and improve movement.

Gehad believes that understanding your body is key to recovery. She focuses on clearly explaining conditions, guiding patients through their rehabilitation, and empowering them with the tools they need to feel confident during and after treatment.

She’s incredibly excited to begin working with our patients and supporting them in achieving their health, recovery, and performance goals.

Gehad will be providing Physiotherapy services Mondays and Wednesday mornings, with appointments available from 9th March 2026.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is an evidence-based, non-invasive treatment, that involves the application of acoustic shockwaves generated through a pneumatic system within the hand piece of the Swiss Dolorclast Radial Device to soft tissue structures of the body to stimulate and encourage the natural healing process.

Using compressed air, a projectile is accelerated to a high-speed to the strike the back of the transmitter (within the hand piece) which is applied directly to the treated area. This application generates a kinetic energy which is converted into shockwaves and transferred to the tissues thanks to coupling gel. The application of these shockwaves allows:

⚡️Increase in blood flow
⚡️An increase in pain receptors and the production of new blood vessels
⚡️Stimulation of collagen and elasticity production

ESWT is a pro-inflammatory method of treatment - meaning we are encouraging the bodies inflammation to occur in a controlled and monitored way, encouraging the stimulation of the bodies Natural Healing Process.

We are running a sports massage training day at our clinic in Swanmore and are looking for people who would be interested in having a sports massage, free of charge, and who would be happy to be a body for the training.

The training day will be run on:
Thursday 17th July between 09:30 - 13:00
and
Saturday 2nd August between 10:00 - 16:00.

Ideally, we need around 15 - 20 people over the two dates, with a range of ages (14+) and both genders
