Our new favourite National Trust place…. Can you guess?

Really worth the visit. Beautiful gardens, buildings, lake and mini caves.

Was a great place to go and explore on Tuesday for our second wedding anniversary….. Not sure where those two years have gone. Glad we didn’t have that weather on our wedding day 🤣. Didn’t spoil our trip to Stourhead as managed to dodge the showers.

Followed by a stop in the Spread Eagle Pub for baked Camembert. Delicious.

Step 1 - Sea salt soak
Step 2 - Sugar scrub
Step 3 - Mud mask
Step 4 - Massage Butter

My top tip is use just half of the contents and use the other half a few days later. Super soft feet afterwards.

I wouldn’t really call myself a gardener however I’ve just learned the veg & fruit I can grow over the years.

These in my opinion are all easy - other than the funny shaped mini carrots (probably a trick to keep them straight). We eat the carrots and the guinea pigs eat the tops so nothing wasted. The same for the strawberries.

The yellow balls (courgettes) we have never grown before and my husband got different courgettes this year so be interesting to try these later.

Spring onions we love and have grown two types this year. Great for on top of pasta and rice dishes, in salads or added in stir fries.

We had a busy morning rescuing this little hedgehog. Arlo found him in the grass near our house and he was covered in ticks bless.

Seadown hospital in Hythe to the rescue.

If you see a hedgehog in the daytime it maybe hurt or could be covered in fleas or ticks so please take to a rescue or a vets. They will heal the hedgehog and release where they were found.

So many ticks around this time of year with the warmer weather. Be sure to check yourself and your pets.

For a change I was the one relaxing……..One of the best spa days I have had in a long time. Felt like we were abroad with the gorgeous weather yesterday.

Looking for a spa day I can highly recommend going to Over 25 different experience rooms as well as having a sound bath session. We ran out of time for the sleep session experience however I was driving home so didn’t want to be too sleepy. Food was delicious and very accommodating for me being gluten free. We went to the one next to Longleat for the day.

Such a small world we live in as I bumped into a good friend hope you had a fab day too

Thank you and for my belated 40th birthday treat. Was well worth the wait and a lovely day 🥰
