Day 8 – Mindset Moments with Amy & Jo
Today’s gentle reminder: slow your mind down.
One of the simplest ways to calm busy thoughts is by putting pen to paper. Journaling doesn’t have to be perfect, structured, or even make complete sense. It’s simply a safe place to empty your mind.
Write down what’s worrying you.
Write down what you’re grateful for.
Write down one small thing you’d like tomorrow to feel like.
And if words feel too heavy today, try colouring instead. Colouring quietly gives your brain a chance to switch off from overthinking and just be present for a few minutes.
There’s something very soothing about focusing on colours, shapes, and creativity without pressure.
So tonight, try this:
Take ten minutes with a notebook or a colouring page, make a cup of tea, and give your mind permission to slow down.
Small moments like this can make a big difference.
