Rex Wingate Eye Care Centres Rex Wingate Eye Care Centres are local independent Opticians located at Park Gate Southampton and Havant. Services include OCT, Visucam and Colorimetry.

We are a family run and family orientated business operating from two eye care centres at Havant and Park Gate. Our aim has always been to offer as personal, friendly, and caring service as possible. We also use the latest technology as it becomes available in all aspects of the practice to provide the best possible optometric care.

ened his first practice in Havant in 1948. He was the third generation of opticians in the family and now his son Graham is the senior optometrist.

As a result of the relaxed and warm atmosphere generated over such a long time, our staff remain loyal to the business and most have been with us for many years.

Our services include:

OCT scanning for Nerve Fibre Analysis
(used in the detection of Glaucoma)

OCT scanning for Macula Disease
(including the detection of AMD)

Visucam - Digital Fundus Photography

Colorimetry - used to treat Visual Stress often
found with Dyslexia. Colorimetry can also help
with Migraine and Autism. Rex Wingate Opticians is a leading Zeiss lens specialist and stock a wide range of frames, including Lindberg Precious, Cartier, Lindberg Spirit Titanium. We also stock many high end fashion brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Chloe, Calvin Klein, Dior & Emilio Pucci. Budget brands are also available.
