Speedwell Court is a welcoming home for older people located in Southampton, Hampshire. Our priority is to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. With regular activities, a car park, communal lounge, laundry facilities, and wheelchair accessibility throughout the premises, we aim to meet the diverse needs of our residents. In addition to spacious gardens and lifts for convenience, we offer delicious meals prepared with care. Rest assured that your security is important to us, as we have implemented security alarms and personal alarms throughout the premises. At Speedwell Court, we strive to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where older people can truly feel at home.

This time last week we were running around like blue-bottomed flies 🐝 setting up, hanging out clothes, folding up and generally being super busy bees for our Community Aimed - Second Hand Charity Clothing Event.

It was a fantastic day, really well attended, and it’s definitely something we may run again.

The best part of all was raising over £400 for charity (and counting… final total to come!). A huge thank you to everyone who donated, a MASSIVE thank you to those who helped out, as well as thank you to those who came along to support the event. 💛

Our story

Opened in 2019, Speedwell Court is a dementia friendly residential care home in Southampton, offering residents a home finished to the highest possible standards.

It provides a safe, secure and caring environment with impressive facilities for all residents to enjoy, such as:


  • Cozy and quiet lounges

  • Dining rooms
