PMA Obviously

PMA Obviously A focus on wellbeing and mindset; the aim is su***de prevention. Positive. Mental. Attitude. Obviously!

My ultimate goal is to reduce the number of su***des globally. I do this by educating audiences on various topics that contribute to our overall wellbeing and sense of purpose and fulfilment.

Although PMAO is currently just idle in the background, this was nice to read today. PMAO is now featured in a national online directory to seek help. It's a reminder of the graft I've put in being worth it but also comes at a convenient time as I burnt out myself in February (again!).

It goes to show, even if you have good self-awareness and know what you "should" be doing in terms of your mental health and wellbeing, that no-one is completely immune.

Working on managing stress, avoiding burnout and living a healthy and enjoyable life is something you have to work at daily.

Finally feeling like my energy levels have returned and my focus this year has to change to a more balanced approach for longevity.

I still would like to revisit PMA in the distant future but this year I have other goals to keep me focused and on the straight and narrow...

One day at a time!

PMA 🧠

OBVIOUSLY! 🥊

I've been recognised as "Most Inspiring Mental Health Ambassador 2023" 😃

Although I've been focusing on self-growth this year it was nice to be recognised for my fundraising efforts, raising nearly £3,000 for Baton Of Hope UK - a su***de prevention charity carrying out important work 🧠

I am keeping PMAO running in the background but had to take a step back to protect my own mental health as ironically, I was burning myself out whilst presenting on similar topics!

I am pleased to say I have finally started my own, long overdue, therapy sessions and hope to address my root causes of my trauma and suffering.

I wanted to take a proactive approach and hopefully avoid any further relapses down the line...

It has already been eye-opening and I may in fact have ADHD, alongside showing autistic traits... there's a lot more to learn about myself but I'm looking forward to the sessions.

When the time is right I will pickup my PMAO work once I can find the balance with my existing commitments and feel ready 🕺

2023 has been a year to remember! ❤️
