Construction of the second-storey extension is well underway, with steady progress being made every day. Beyond the bricks and mortar, once completed, the extension will allow doctors to perform life-saving surgery as well as care for patients in life-threatening conditions.

We’re getting so close, but there’s still a little way to go to reach our target and ensure the clinic is completed on time...

We've raised $69,454.49 towards our $80,000 goal 💚

With the hospital extension expected to be completed in May, the foundations are laid, and the walls are rising... But this project represents more than just a construction. Beyond creating more local jobs, once built, the extension will enable doctors to perform surgery (including caesarean births) as well as look after patients in a critical condition. Currently, there is no provision for this kind of care on South Idjwi.

We still have a little way to go to reach our target and ensure the clinic is completed on time. One simple way you can help is by enjoying something you already love - coffee ☕
