Part 2: Following on from the last post…
I was asked a question that most supplement brands never explain:
“What is a ligand?”
It’s one of those words that sounds natural and wholesome… but it’s actually pure lab chemistry.
A ligand is a chemical molecule used to bind magnesium into forms like:
• citrate
• glycinate
• malate
• taurate
Your body must break that bond apart before it can use the magnesium.
Our magnesium doesn’t need ligands.
It comes naturally dissolved in its original mineral salts - ionic, whole, and just as nature made it from the protected salt lake of Lake Deborah.
