Neurodivergent therapy - Slots available

If you're looking for ways to support your child's neurodivergence, I work with parents and children together, to help create more ease and harmony at home.

I can also provide information and education about what autism and ADHD actually are - and how to navigate getting a new diagnosis. You don't have to work all this out alone. I'll be here alongside you.
And of course - self-diagnosis is valid. I can support clients regardless of a diagnosis. We explore together what your unique needs are, and what can support you.

M A R C H

I took a break from classes for a few months to focus on my own practice and go within ✨
As we move towards more light and (hopefully) more warmth, I can’t wait to get back on the mat. I strongly believe it is from March onwards that we can begin to connect to a feeling of ‘more’ and prior to this, when we are in the depths of Winter, we need less.
If you’re ready for more - more movement, spaciousness, energy, and love, you’re welcome to join us. Come this way 🥰
Morning classes as usual plus a new course called Reconnect

If you’re not feeling the energy of the ‘new year’ or a desire to overhaul your whole life - that’s ok! If you’re feeling excited about this new year, and are ready to let things unfold for you in new ways - that’s ok too! Some people love this time of year for a reset … but for the majority of people I know, it’s a hard time of year. So if you’re struggling this January, know you’re not alone ✨

2018-2026 … swipe to the end to see the first (very!) embarrassing logo I created for my yoga business.
My design ability may have only *just about* improved in this time, but my ability to make decisions has not! It took me a long time to make the move to www.nicoleasghar.com and this new logo - but I had some amazing help and guidance along the way.
I’m still not 100% sure on them all yet but I’m getting closer!
I’ll write more about this soon, why I’ve made this change and who helped me out ✨ for now, you can all have a giggle at my first logo.

A Year of Vedic Meditation
Last month I completed a year long course on Vedic meditation and tomorrow - I begin again.
I am repeating the same course, with the same dedication to my practice, but with a different year ahead. This year will be different to my last and therefore my meditation practice will feel different too.
The power of this ancient practice comes when you stay with it through all of life’s seasons.
I’m excited to see where it takes me.
Would it be helpful to hear about this year’s journey … and how I practice this style of meditation as an ADHDer?
Let me know and I can share my thoughts as I go!
P.S there might be time to joint still if you fancy giving it a go! Contact Becky

I’m always late to the party. I’ve never posted on the 1st of January or been first at anything — and I realise now, that’s just how I like it.
Over the last year, I’ve learned a lot about myself and have been reflecting on how this deeper understanding can inform my work and, ultimately, how I live.
It’s brought clarity around how I want to support clients, connect and serve others, embrace my neurodivergence, and live more intentionally and honestly. Navigating all of this while trying to keep up with the algorithm felt hard — but for the first time, I think I’ve found a way to show up here that feels true.
So as we move into the new year, I’ll be sharing some ways my work has evolved — including a new name and a new look. It’s not out with the old (anyone else find that incredibly hard?), but an adding in of the new.
What remains the same is my hope to reduce suffering, bring compassion, and guide people towards more ease in body and mind.
What did you learn about yourself in 2025 — and what fare you hoping to addin 2026?

My Podcast Episode is Here!

It was such a pleasure to be invited to speak about yoga as a form of therapy on Your Empowered Self by Tricia Woolfrey. I really enjoyed having the chance to discuss all the different aspects of yoga and how it can support people to manage stress, illnnes and overall health.

Although I may have got the order of the 8 limbs incorrect (ooops), I was impressed at how much my ADHD brain could remember off the top of my head! 😆

Click the link to take you to my episode on Tricia's YouTube Channel and you'll see a free yoga practice and a free handout on the 8 limbs (in the correct order!) Whilst you're there, you could take a look at some of her other episodes - lots of wonderful content!

If you give it a listen, I'd love to hear your thoughts or reflections.

Most of us are familiar with yoga and how it can be beneficial as a stress management tool (I have another video this in this series). But not many people k...

Therapeutic Art & Creativity

This is slightly different to 'Art Therapy' in that I am not an art therapist who solely uses the arts. I integrate the use of creative expression into the whole therapeutic process. That might look like movement one day or music, working with clay, or sandtrays, drawing or painting or even writing poetry another.

What I love about using the arts is there is no end goal. No perfect picture we are trying to get to. Just an open invitation to use tangible (and abstract) things to help us connect and delve into our inner experiences.

Sometimes just seeing something (an object, a colour, material etc) that resonates with your felt sense can unlock the ability to befriend that experience, sensation, or emotion. It is a way to process emotions without having to find the words or make sense of it logically. We can just be with it...

For me, it's a beautiful thing to witness as a therapist and part of my work that I'm enjoying seeing unfold before me. Who knows where it will take me!

Get in touch if I can support you or your child with the therapeutic arts.

What do I offer and how can you work with me?

As an ADHDer, I like to do many different things! I have lots of interests - plenty that never lasted more than a few weeks so won't be showing up on this page, but plenty that did. People have said for years - wow you offer a lot of different things Nicole! And that always worried me, but now I understand the way my brain works, I've realised having multiple offerings is one of my strengths....
So this week, I will be posting about the various ways in which I work, so you can get to know how I might be able to support you or your child. My hope is to explain more clearly what I do so it feels easier to decide! Clarity and conciseness is not one of my strengths so it'll be across separate posts!☺️

First up, I'll explain how you can work with the creative arts in your sessions... and colourful, playful balls too if you wish!
