Recovery First Housing is a supported housing service for those recovering from substance misuse.

We realise the importance of fellowship in recovery and appreciate that whilst addiction is a serious disease - laughter in sobriety is very important.

Last month we took some of our residents to Top Golf which everyone thoroughly enjoyed - as you can see we had a “tee-rrific” time and a “hole” lot of fun! ⛳️⭐️💚⛳️⭐️💚

This one is set to be a 💥 😂

The event is being funded by a generous family and supporter of our cause.

Fun in recovery is essential. Life is to short to not enjoy every out of the ordinary opportunity.

We can’t wait for this one. Looking forward to seeing old faces with new. Spreading the message of hope one obstacle at a time 🥰

Today we say ‘GOODBYE’ to Olivia MacMahon. ❤️‍🩹

Olivia has worked for us for just over a year and it’s been an incredible journey. We have watched you grow and blossom into an excellent recovery practitioner. We have shared many tears of joy and sorrow but laughter and love always won 🕊️

She has supported hundreds of recovering addicts in need who have nothing but gratitude and positive feedback.

You were a welcomed and valued part of the team. To say she will be missed is an understatement but for now she is off to focus on her studies.

So it’s not goodbye 👋 but see you 🔜

Last week we had the pleasure of celebrating our lovely Saffron's graduation from the Recovery First Housing Project! 🥳👩‍🎓🌟

Saffron came into the service 16 months ago and what a journey she has been on since! Addiction had taken so much from Saffron when she came to us, but she was hopeful that there may be a new life out there for her... a life free from the pain and suffering of active addiction.

Fast forward to 2025 and as you can see from Saffron's before and after photos below, the change in her is remarkable! ❤️‍🩹She has put absolutely everything into her recovery and it has been an honour to witness her journey. From embracing her incredibly creative flair to showing sheer determination and resilience when faced with life struggles, Saffron has shown up for herself and her recovery every step of the way.

In addition to this, Saffron has supported many others in the local recovery community and shared her experience and knowledge with them freely, through volunteering at Aspirations Program Registered Charity 1195424 and being of service in the local recovery fellowships.

Saffron, you are such an incredibly talented and inspirational woman and we are all very proud of you! 🥰You have worked so hard to build a strong foundation for your beautiful future and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you... 🤩
