Worklife UK Work Life UK began life as Posture For Work, providing ergonomic and DSE assessments. As our clients’ needs evolved, so did we. Connect. Move. Protect.

Today, we deliver wide range of services that connect people, wellbeing, and compliance across every aspect of the workplace. We help organisations design and maintain environments where people feel good and perform at their best. From office furniture and fit-out to wellbeing training, resilience, and compliance frameworks such as ISO, Cyber Essentials, and DORA, we bring together the physical, digital, and human elements that make work work. Our expertise now spans the full employee experience. We still believe in the value of good posture, but we also understand that wellbeing is shaped by culture, environment, and technology. When it comes to having staff working from home, these are some of the common mis-conceptions we are coming across. These can be expensive mistakes to make.

• DSE assessments aren’t essential | DSE assessments are required to be carried out routinely, by law, for all DSE users.

• We send out DSE self-assessments | Software and paper based DSE self-assessments are not HSE compliant on their own.

• We have given our employees money to buy office furniture. | Money to buy equipment does not guarantee that employees buy the right equipment or know how to set it up correctly. A DSE workstation assessment is still required.

• Home workers don’t need to receive a DSE assessment | All long-term home workers and office based workers using DSE must receive a DSE workstation assessment by law.

• Our employees only work from home one day a week | If working from home becomes a long-term arrangement, whether for one hour a week or full time, then a full DSE workstation assessment should be completed.

Talk to us today for more information about what your organisation should be doing for its DSE users.
