A day in my life as an animal chiropractor 🐾

Adjustments, tail wags, and a lot of happy hooves. From helping stiff pups move freely again to keeping horses performing at their best — every patient reminds me why I love what I do.

Winter can be tough on spines ❄️🐾

Here are 3 ways winter affects spinal mobility in animals:

1️⃣ Cold = Muscle Tension
Lower temperatures cause muscles to tighten, reducing flexibility and increasing strain on the spine.

2️⃣ Less Movement = Stiffness
Shorter days and icy weather often mean less activity. Decreased movement leads to joint stiffness and reduced spinal mobility.

3️⃣ Slippery Ground = Compensation
Snow and ice change gait patterns. Pets may brace, slip, or alter their stride — creating spinal misalignments and muscle imbalances.
