Tongue Twister Day is celebrated every year on November 8 and officially recognizes the fun that most people have as they use alliteration to tie their tongues in knots. Tongue twisters originated in the 19th century with John Harris’s publication of the book “Peter Piper’s Practical Principles of Plain and Perfect Pronunciation.”
How To Celebrate Tongue Twister Day

Do you want to work for a reputable care company?
Do you want to help others within their own homes to maintain independence and make a difference in their day to day lives?
Do you want to work for a care company that promotes and supports high quality care?
Have you ever wanted to work in care but didn’t know how to?
If your answer is YES, please read on NOW.
The aim of the Community Carer is to enable Service Users to maintain their everyday personal skills and
support them with varying health conditions. This may at times include hands on assistance, however, the
emphasis is on independence. Community Carers provide a service from 7am to 11pm, 365 days a year including Bank Holidays and
Weekends. Community Carers currently work 5 shifts per week for 6 hours under a 30 hour contract.
Ideally suitable applicants should have community experience in reablement and care, however, extensive
training will be provided to successful applicants including those with little or no experience. The Community Carer will be working without supervision, carrying out established plans of care, rehabilitation, nursing and social care duties (including direct personal care), within a patients own home. Our goal is to facilitate a safe and timely discharge from hospital, along with the prevention of hospital, or
inpatients admission or readmission and to support this we have a comprehensive competency program and mandatory training to ensure that Community Carers have the necessary skills to provide a high quality
service. Suitable applicants must have a UK driving license and must have a car suitable for work purposes. For further information and to apply
