This has just popped up in my local shopping centre.

I'm sure this will be a great support to many who may just need to take a minute or two when things feel a little overwhelming.

Just scan the code, sign up and you're good to go.
Sessions can be personalised in the cubbie app, choosing lighting, sound and visuals to help manage sensory and emotional overwhelm.

Apparently they're rolling them out in schools too. ❤️

Ask yourself "What do I need right now?"
Is it comfort or reassurance; to connect with friends or spend time alone; to get outside or stay at home. Self care doesn't have to be meditating or yoga, it can be having a nap, declining an invitation or just watching t.v.

Are you giving yourself a hard time for the things you cannot do right now? How would it be for you to give yourself credit for all that you have managed to do?
Speaking kindly to ourselves is often harder than being kind to others. It can take practise.. but its worth it. ⭐️

I understand that Christmas is not a joyful time for everyone. The pressure of festive expectations can intensify anxiety, depression and grief, so it's important to be kind to yourself, in any way you can. Try to set realistic goals. If you're feeling overwhelmed, take a break, even for a few minutes. Protect your wellbeing by saying no to things that will cause you unnecessary stress and finally, don't struggle alone, reach out to someone you trust.

This morning I attended a really interesting workshop delivered by Victoria Baskerville from TA East.

The subject was 'Q***r identities and gender, s*x and relationship diversity inclusive practice'

We discussed the complexities of human identity, whilst exploring and challenging our own assumptions and ideas.
