When the world feels loud, rushed, or overwhelming, the breath is always there, steady, quiet, waiting.

Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) is one of yoga’s most calming practices, gently restoring balance to the nervous system and mind.

This practice can help to:
✨ calm anxious thoughts
✨ steady the heart rate
✨ improve focus and clarity
✨ bring harmony to body and mind

And if you’re feeling under the weather, congested, or blocked, there are always adaptations. Yoga isn’t rigid. It meets you where you are, exactly as you are. Using visualisation and hand mudras instead of physically closing the nostrils allows you to receive the same balancing benefits without strain.

Hatha Yoga with Bex is a calm, grounding and supportive practice designed to help you feel stronger, steadier and more at ease in your body.

This class is ideal if you:

Last Friday, around forty members of our beautiful community came together to celebrate the Christmas season, former teacher trainees, current trainees, therapists, yoga teachers, dance teachers, and so many others who help create the heart and soul of Mayura.

It was a joy to gather with familiar faces and new ones, sharing warmth, laughter and the deep sense of connection that makes this studio so special.

And to those who couldn’t be there, you were very much missed and held in our thoughts throughout the evening. 💙

If you used to practise but somehow lost your confidence…
If you worry you’re “not flexible enough”, “too out of practice”, or that everyone else will know what they’re doing…

This is your gentle, welcoming invitation to begin again, with support, understanding, and zero pressure.

Our January/February 2026 Beginners Yoga Course is designed specifically for people who feel nervous, curious, rusty, or overwhelmed by the idea of joining a general class.

Maybe you’ve had a long break after an injury.
Maybe life got in the way and you haven’t rolled out a mat in years.
Maybe you’ve never done yoga before and want to make sure you’re doing it safely and correctly.

Whatever your starting point, you are so welcome here.

Over three Sundays, you’ll:
