❄️ Winter Reset: 5 Fruits to Help Support Immunity After the Festive Season 🍊🫐

January has a way of catching up with us.

Colder days, richer food, a bit more alcohol over Christmas, it’s no surprise many people feel run-down, sluggish, or “not quite themselves” right now.

I’ve just shared a new article on the website looking at 5 simple, everyday fruits that can help support immunity during winter no detoxes, no extremes, just practical nutrition that works in real life.

If you’re looking to reset gently after the festive season, this one’s for you.

Small, consistent changes make the biggest difference.

January tends to arrive quietly, but the body often feels the impact of December loud and clear. Colder weather, shorter days, richer food, a bit more alcohol than usual, it’s a combination that can leave many people feeling run-down, sluggish, and more susceptible to coughs and colds. It’s some...

Most men don’t have a motivation problem… they have a hormone problem.

Low energy.
Low libido.
Poor recovery.
Stressed, foggy, not seeing progress in the gym.
You can’t out-train or out-hustle your biology.

The Advanced Testosterone Test gives you the real picture, a full venous blood draw (not a finger-prick) for serious accuracy, followed by my full breakdown + action plan so you actually know what to do next.

If you’re a man who wants better performance, better mood, better strength, or just to feel like yourself again, this is your starting point.

Limited spaces this week. Message me “TEST” to book.

In recent years, more men have begun to recognise the importance of understanding their hormonal health, particularly testosterone. For many, subtle changes in energy, motivation, recovery and overall wellbeing are often dismissed as “stress” or “getting older,” when in reality, they are ear...

Sabie pulled up to the Black History Month event looking like royalty in her traditional attire but what she shared was even more powerful.

We spoke about Black health, cultural pride, and the importance of getting yourself checked. Whether it’s diabetes, high blood pressure, sickle cell or fibroids early knowledge saves lives.

Health isn’t just about treatment. It’s about ownership.

📹 Watch Sabie’s wise words — from culture to clinic.
🎯 This is how we rewrite the health story in our community.

Let’s stop calling it “just a little bit of sugar.”
Diabetes is one of the biggest health risks in Black communities across the UK — and it’s not just about eating sweets.

We’re talking about years of high-starch diets, sugary drinks, no breakfast, late-night eating, stress, and lack of proper sleep.
All of that adds up.

I’ve met people in their 20s already pre-diabetic. Some don’t even know it until something goes wrong. And sadly, in the UK, Black African and Caribbean communities are 3 to 5 times more likely to develop type 2 diabetes.

It’s not about “selling out your culture.” It’s about learning how to eat what you love — without letting it kill you slowly.

Things you can do NOW:
✅ Drink more water. You’d be surprised how much less you snack.
✅ Shrink the mountain of rice and double the veg.
✅ Swap juice for herbal tea or infused water — still flavour, less risk.
✅ Get checked. Ask your GP about your HbA1c (blood sugar test) even if you feel fine.

What an inspiring moment! 🙌🏾

I sat down with Councillor Maxine Sadza, the first woman of colour to represent Southend Council, during our local Black History Month celebration.

We talked about Black health, representation, and what it means to keep showing up for our communities. Her commitment to service and wellbeing is truly something to celebrate.

🎥 More interviews coming soon from this event — highlighting local voices making a difference

It’s Black History Month. And while I’m not always a fan of the label, I am a fan of using this moment to talk about things that actually matter to our communities, like our health.Let’s be real: too many of us are walking around normalizing things that shouldn’t be normal.“I’m big becau...

Our food tells our story but sometimes, the way we cook it tells a story our bodies don’t love 😅
From frying everything in oil to over-salting for flavour, it’s no wonder we see higher rates of heart disease and high blood pressure in our communities.
The good news? We can still enjoy the foods we love just cook them smarter.

I’ve also noticed the term “it’s flu season” being thrown around a lot lately. News flash: there is no such thing as flu season. What we’re really facing is a perfect storm of shorter days, colder weather, less sunshine, heavier diets, and reduced activity and our bodies definitely notice.

🩰💪 Male dancers need more than choreography — they need fuel.
Inspired by Nylah’s article, I’ve written a follow-up guide for boys, teens, and men in dance (and their parents). Practical tips, a few laughs, and plenty of fuel to keep our future stars strong.

She said: “Food isn’t about restriction — it’s about giving my body the energy it needs to dance, grow, and feel strong.” That line stuck with me. Because it’s not only true for her, but also for every boy tying his ballet shoes, every teen pushing through rehearsals, and every dad still...
