That is exactly what makes my job worth while 💖

Between us 3 homes we will have a 3 weekly rota, slowly but surely we are getting into a routine, family and friends are more than welcome to follow in their own vehicles and meet us at the chosen destination 🚗🙏

A rota with dates and chosen locations will be published within the home asap!!

Week of the 23rd March 🌷🌦️

And what a week it was to ☂️

Guess what? - OUR NEW MINI BUS HAS ARRIVED! 🚐
This has opened up a whole new level of exploring, making memories and enjoying life that little bit more together. 🙏💖

We had our lovely carman come and show us how to embrace our inner strength & Yoga the morning away 🕉️

Our wonderful Hairdresser Tracey made sure she left our ladies and gentlemen with a smile from ear to ear! ✂️

Of course we have our weekly wellbeing Wednesday with manicures, massages and facials. 💅

To end the the week we enjoyed having gentlemens club! We had some of our gentlemen friends from our sister homes come and join us. Our guys enjoyed playing 21 with chips down on the table 🎲🎰 Afew pints and the vinyls playing on the record player ♂️ what more could a gentleman want on a Friday afternoon? 🍺 It really doesn't matter if they have Dementia, physical complications, ect, bringing people together, socialising, communicating is what matters the most.

Am - we have a variety of pet therapy coming to join us 🐕‍🦺🐰🐴

Pm - we have market stalls, Arts and crafts & games!💐🥚🧺

Entrance fee is £3 each
Don't forget to bring extra pennies for the market stalls and the raffles!🥂✨

A busy, busy week for sure!! 🙏✨

We celebrated St Patrick's day in the garden in the sun 🇮🇪☘️
Soaking up some vit D ☀️

To celebrate at Patricks day properly we had the complete pleasure of having Ella’s care home dance entertainment, she treated us to some traditional Irish dancing! (Videos to follow).

Our pet therapy doggo came to visit 🐶🐾
Her name is lady and her human is named Kay!
It brings a huge lift to our residents when we have them visit! 🙏✨

And Friday we had our ladies day, Every month we have a ladies day we take it in turns for each home to host, this time was of course, Milton's turn, As it was the first day of spring 🌸🌦️ we thought the best way to celebrate this was to have a professional florist come and join us and give us a tutorial lesson and what a joy it was to! The best bit was we got to keep our bouques 💐 so a huge thankyou to Susan Bulling and Katie from Ellie Mae Florist we had a great time 🙏✨

As the days are staying lighter for longer and the blossom is growing, cheers to a new week ahead of us 🥂 ✨

A busy, busy week in Milton House 🐝✨

Everyday in Milton house we start the morning with some light exercise, ready to wake the mind, body and soul ☯️

Tuesday we had an amazing guy named
Mick cope come and do some singing for us, our residents LOVED HIM and didn't stop talking about him for the rest of the day!
🎤🎶✨

Mid week we have WELLBEING WEDNESDAY!! For ladies and gentlemen, This includes nails, pamper and relaxation sessions! 🫧💆‍♀️

Thursday we were well and truly treated with some vit D and what a delight it was to have lunch alfresco 🦋 with some music and birds in the background 🕊️ - and of course we had our visit from our beautiful Therapy dog and her human, Lady and Kay! 🐶🐾

Having a therapy dog reduces stress, encourages social interaction and helps us reminisce. ✨

We also was lucky enough to have ladies day at Whittingham house, "paint and sip" 🖌️🥂 our ladies got to create there very own work of art! 🎨

Friday!!!!!

We had baking club! 🥧
We made our own chocolate cakes and icing.we got to indulge in the beauties at tea time ☕.

To finish the week of course we had our virtual quiz with our 2 sister homes, and the winners were ........
