Stuck in the cycle of giving up after one ‘bad’ meal? Here’s what you need to do...

I use to believe that in order to be ‘healthy’ and reach my goals I had to restrict my eating and that I wouldn’t lose weight unless I went to bed feeling hungry.

I use to obsess over certain foods because I labelled them as ‘off limits’

To the point where, I wouldn’t be able to resist any more and I would give in and binge on that food.

I use to try to be so ‘in control’, that I actually became out of control.

So here are some things to help you win back that control and break free from that ‘all or nothing mindset’ 👇🏻

1. Don’t make food rules! 📋❌ When things are ‘off limits’ that becomes all we think about. Gain back your control by allowing yourself a little of what you enjoy and put the focus on foods you ADd to your diet to make you feel good. ✨

2. Learn to listen to your hunger and fullness queues. Eating mindfully helps with this and allows you to stop eating when you are actually full and avoid overeating. 👂🏻

3. Are you actually hungry or is it emotional eating? Do you need to do some self care? Read a book? Take a bath? Meditate? Take a second to tune in to your emotions and figure out what it is your body really wants / needs. 🧘‍♀️

4. Recognise that one meal or one ‘unhealthy’ food choice does NOT mean you have ‘blown it’. Your progress is not lost. 🙅🏼‍♀️ Ask yourself ‘how can I save the day?’

5. Eat regular, balanced meals to control your blood sugar, reduce cravings and prevent poor food choices later in the day! 🍽️

The aim for this challenge is to build healthy, sustainable habits so that you feel:

✨less bloated
✨more confident

We’re doing it in November so that when December comes round you can enjoy the moments, feel good in your outfits, take pictures where you feel beautiful and savour the memories!!! 🎄🎉🍾

This is a habit challenge so everyday we will be completing a habit for the purpose of looking after and improving the mind, body & soul! (DM for more info!)
