FirstPoint24 Founded in 2018 by two dedicated nurses, we provide exceptional complex and domiciliary services across Essex and Suffolk.

From Birth to the End of life, our nurse-led team offers personalised 24/7 care tailored to you or your loved one's needs. Our Registered Manager and Nominated Individual are lifelong friends who ventured away from the NHS in 2018, driven by a desire to improve community support. This was the foundation for FirstPoint24. What began as a small agency has grown significantly over the years, and we now provide exceptional complex care and domiciliary services across the UK. Recently, FirstPoint24 appointed a Head of Clinical Services, an Adult Nurse with over 20 years of experience managing teams within the NHS. For the past 8 years, they have been working in the community, advancing complex care teams. The Complex Care division is led by both a pediatric and an adult Clinical Lead. They tailor the care provided to each individual, ensuring that families feel supported and safe throughout the process. Additionally, they prioritise the well-being of the care teams. With a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and skills, our nursing staff conducts in-house training to ensure that all team members are well-trained and competent in providing support. The Domiciliary Care division is supported by a complex team and is led by a Care Coordinator and a group of Field Care Managers. This team is visible in the community and customises the care provided to each individual, ensuring that families feel supported and safe throughout the process. FirstPoint24 is a company driven by compassion and empathy. We listen, we support, and we make a difference. Our clients and their families are at the heart of our business. With our clinical expertise, we strive to maintain a family-oriented atmosphere in everything we do.

Healthcare Assistant – £12.42 per hour

Are you a compassionate, reliable individual looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? Join our dedicated team as a Healthcare Assistant, providing vital support and care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping our service users maintain their independence and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care
• Preparing meals
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with shopping and errands
• Supporting social visits and community engagement
• Administering medication (following training)

What We’re Looking For
• A full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
• The right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship or transfer
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication skills
• Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential – full training provided

What We Offer
• £12.42 per hour
• Paid induction and ongoing training
• Care Certificate qualification
• 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
• 45p per mile travel allowance (between clients)
• Uniform and full PPE provided
