As you can see we had a lovely visit from Ruby - one of the Essex Therapy Dogs before Christmas! We are all looking forward to welcoming her back again at Viking very soon! 🐕 🐾

Thankful Thursday 🐶 Ruby is so thankful for all the cuddles she received during her trip to Brook Meadows House. She cant wait to go back and make even more friends!

We presented a Cheque for £228.50 to the One Love Project on 21st January 2026 as the 2nd of the two proceeds from our Fund Raising Christmas Coffee Morning.

A huge thank you to the wonderful guys from the Viking House for hosting a Christmas coffee morning and raising money for us.

Thank you also for taking the time to come and visit us — it was really lovely to meet you all and to share more about our work. Your support genuinely makes a difference, and we’re incredibly grateful.😍

Well what can we say it’s been a very busy December for everyone at Viking - we had our Christmas Coffee Morning which as you know raised £457.00 for 2 local charities, a Christmas Pyjama Day, a trip to St. Peter’s Church for a Service, a Christmas Dinner, a musician/singer entertainer, a fish & chip take-away lunch & a visit from Santa & an Elf! 🎅 🧝‍♀️ It’s our last day tomorrow (24th Dec) with an earlier finish time & we return on Friday 2nd January 2026! We would just like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year & look forward to speaking to you all in 2026! Love From Everyone at Viking. 🎄 🎁

Hi, just to let you all know we raised a fantastic £457.00 at our Christmas Coffee Morning on 10th December! Thank you so much for all your kind donations & support! The proceeds are going to be shared between two great local charities, The St. Vincent’s Centre & The One Love Project!

We all had a great time at Viking today. Christmas pajama day was a lot of fun. We also have to thank Saint Peters Church for inviting us for a lovely Christmas service this morning.

We would just like to say a very Big Thank you to everyone who came & supported our Christmas Coffee Morning today! It was lovely to see so many of you & we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! Thank you for all your kind donations & also to those people who made cakes, donated raffle prizes & items to sell, not forgetting those people who gave up their precious time to help us today. We have raised a considerable amount of money for two very good causes so keep posted next week for the full total! Finally the Staff & Service Users at Viking deserve a huge thank you for helping to put this all together- it was an amazing team effort!
