Did you know that while children aren’t officially recognised as First Aiders until the age of 14, many are already learning to save lives?
At YOMA’s next Open Day on Sunday 25th January 2026, we’re excited to offer a fun 45-minute Mini Medic taster session for children aged 8–14.
During the session, participants will:
Learn the basics of First Aid - what it is, how to react, and who, why, and when to call in an emergency.
Get hands-on with CPR practice, learning key techniques to help themselves and others.
Understand the importance of staying calm in unexpected situations.
These mini medic sessions are delivered by Stuart from SP First Aid Training, a fully qualified and Ofqual-approved First Aid Instructor.
