43 years old. First heavy squat session in 2 years.
Today wasn’t about ego or numbers — it was about showing up and trusting myself again.
I worked up to a 135kg squat, my heaviest in two years.
I even pulled out the worst-smelling salts known to man 😅 — you can see the exact moment they hit.
I went for 137.5kg and missed it… and I’m genuinely proud.
Because progress isn’t always about hitting the lift.
It’s about rebuilding confidence after injury, setbacks, addiction, mental health struggles, or long periods of self-doubt.
This is how I coach.
We train the mindset first — strength, fat loss, and physical change come as a by-product of confidence.
