I had the privilege to take part of the « career week » at one of our local school where I got to present my profession to hopefully inspire children to choose Osteopathy as a career choice but also to raise awareness that there are natural ways we can look after ourselves without always relying on medications to get better and manage aches and pains.

It was an incredible experience and I feel very proud and grateful to be an Osteopath and to be able to help people get better everyday ❤️

3 things you can do to be and feel healthier:

💧 Drink more water. Keeping hydrated is key for your body to function properly. Water and herbal teas are best for hydration (juices, tea and coffee not as much although coffee is considered as a healthy drink but not from the hydration point of view. I will do a post on this)

🤸🏾‍♀️ Move more (and by movement It can simply be a short walk, stretching or dancing your kitchen. The aim is to keep mobile)

😴 Sleep. Having enough sleep is a game changer as it impact everything from your mood, energy, food choices as well as your immune system !

Is it Frozen shoulder?

❄️What is it? Frozen shoulder causes pain and stiffness and can last weeks, months or even years

❄️What causes it? The medical term of frozen shoulder is Adhesive capsulâtes which means inflammation of the shoulder capsule

❄️Dies it get better? Yes, most frozen get better with help from treatment and home exercises. In some rare occasions, some people might need further investigations and interventions to fully regain their shoulder mobility but if it’s caught early enough, simple treatments are enough to treat a frozen shoulder

What are Hiccups?

Hiccups are spasms coming from your diaphragm which is a big muscle lying on top of your stomach.

There are three important “tubes” that goes through it:

🌸 The oesophagus (your feeding tube that leads to your stomach)

🌸 The aorta (transports blood from@your heart to your body)

🌸 The inferior vena cava (your body’s largest vein that transports your blood back to your heart)

Hi 👋

I haven’t been on this page for a little while! Between Covid and having two children it’s been keeping me rather busy 😅 so I thought I would reintroduced myself 😊

I’m Celine, I’m the principal Osteopath here at CD Osteopathy.

When I’m not treating patients I am a mum to my two pickles: Oliver and Emily
I also enjoy running and any outdoors activities 🏃‍♀️🌳

I absolutely love being an Osteopath and the fact that I can say I’m going to work to help people feel better and happier is honestly the best feeling 🤩

I offer treatments for all ages from newborn to the elderly ❤️
