Excitingly our Snowdrops organisation has rapidly grown, not only in the support that we can provide, but also in our involvement in national projects and research which work to improve care following the loss of a baby. We have created a new page The Snowdrops Foundation to pull this all together and to share the work we are doing. If you would like to know more about what we are doing and ways in which you can be involved please visit our new page. Thank you Lindsay x

We are very excited to launch our Snowdrops Run Club Essex a social running club for bereaved parents. Out first meeting will be on the 28th February at Billericay Park run. We will meet at the gates into the park at 8:30am. This is about togetherness and not times, however if you would like to sprint off then we can meet you in the cafe for a coffee afterwards.
In order to get a time please register for free with Parkrun using this link www.parkrun.org.uk/register/. For more information please go to www.thesnowdropsfoundation.com/run-club/

Had a lovely walk at and was so surprised to see the snowdrops starting to bloom and to be joined by a friendly Robin whilst taking some photos. Snowdrops to me are always a sign of hope and resilience after the winter, and of course link beautifully to the Snowdrops poem.

I am thinking of planning a visit to Warley Place Nature Reserve who often have an abundance of Snowdrops- would anyone like to join me?

Moving into a new year can feel as if we are leaving our babies behind or that they are becoming further away.

When Henry died I read about microchimerism where our babies cells cross the placenta and can stay in the mother's body for decades, even a lifetime, lodging in various tissues like the brain and heart.

We move to the new year with them, holding them in the most important parts of us. X

We had a lovely afternoon, having a moment to create something for our babies amidst the busy time in the lead up to Christmas. Thank you to Gail for guiding us expertly through making these beautiful creations.

If over Christmas anyone needs some support we will be here for a 1:1 call or our next group is on the 29th January. X
