We always try to do our best for our patients, sometimes it’s just routine footcare, sometimes it’s surgical procedures, sometimes it’s just some advice - but to know we are making a difference to people is so rewarding!

We’ve had a busy and rewarding month continuing our professional development 👣

On 10th March, we had the pleasure of attending an anatomy course at a cadaver lab at Nottingham City Hospital. What an experience!

Working with cadaveric specimens allowed us to undertake detailed anatomical dissection in a way that simply isn’t possible elsewhere. Experiences like this are invaluable in enhancing our knowledge and improving the precision and safety of the treatments we provide in clinic.

We also attended a dermatology course in London with the Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDS). With over 100 attendees—mainly GPs alongside a few fellow podiatrists—it was a fantastic learning opportunity and allowed us to look at and purchase the best equipment!

As podiatrists, recognising potential cancerous indicators on the lower limb is an important part of the care we provide.

We undertake these courses not just to meet HCPC requirements, but because we are committed to delivering the highest standard of care possible to our patients.

It was also lovely to catch up with our podiatry colleagues and friends from around the country 😊

We can’t share pictures from the Cadaver lab (which I’m sure no one wants to see anyway!) but here are a few pics of us at the courses 😁

Just a quick note to let our patients know that we will be closed on a couple of dates for the next couple of months.

As an HCPC registered clinic, we are required to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure we are providing the highest standard of care. We’ll be attending a couple of professional courses this month and also have some holiday pending and will therefore be closed on:

• Tuesday 10th March
• Thursday 19th March
• Monday 23rd March
• Thursday 2nd April
• Wednesday 15th April
• Tuesday 5th May

We are super excited to be taking over Grovewood Podiatry clinic in Rayleigh this year. Opening in May (🙏🤞)

Thank you for everyone’s support. We are not leaving Eastwood (we love it here 🥰) and will be working between both.

Wishing Rob the very best of luck as he starts his Master’s degree in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery. It’s going to be a long 7 year journey but his passion will see him through!

At Eastwood Podiatry, Rob already offers a range of extended scope podiatry services including;

👣 Steroid injections
👣 Skin surgery for lumps and bumps
👣 Hyaluronic gel injections for those pesky corns
