𖦹 THE GOAL OF YOGA 𖦹

Today we focused on the theme of the goal of yoga. Yoga comes from the Sanskrit work “yuj” which means “to yolk/to join”, referring to the connection made between mind, body and soul. In our classes we aim to reach this union through asana (movement), pranayama (breath work) and dhyana (meditation). So grateful for all my yogis who share their practice in this space🪷🫶🏼if you want to come along or have any questions please drop me a DM🦋have a beautiful weekend🌿✨

𖦹 FULL MOON 𖦹

Last night we experienced a beautiful full moon. The full moon invites us to let go, transform and set intentions for the month ahead. To celebrate this moon I have begun to put some rituals in place (thank you .yourflow__ for the advice!). The evening started with a walk, followed by moon salutations in the garden, a fire ritual (writing down anything that comes up and burning it - in a fire safe container!) and finishing off with a card pull. Together allowing for increased gratitude, connection to nature and releasing and letting go. Do you have a full moon ritual you follow? Please share below 🪷🫶🏼
