Where are we? ✨

We’re located in the town centre of sunny Southend! ☀️ 🌊 Our clinic is easily accessible with several car parks all within a two minute walk and on-street parking directly outside the clinic 🚗

We are also in easy walking distance of both Southend Victoria & Southend Central train station! 🚂

Being based in Southend makes our private ultrasound clinic easily accessible to expectant parents from all over South Ess*x, especially Basildon, Rochford, Wickford, Leigh-on-Sea, Rayleigh and Canvey Island 🗺️

When’s the best time to have a 4D scan? ✨

We get asked this question a lot! We always advise the best gestation is between 27 & 31 weeks as baby has laid down a good amount of fat by this stage ~ but with a few exceptions! 👇🏼

- If you’re expecting twins we advise coming around 26 weeks! 👶🏼👶🏼
- And if your placenta is anterior we suggest visiting us closer to 27 weeks 💕

Our weekends are our most popular times so if you’re looking to visit us for a 4D on a Saturday or Sunday we advise planning ahead! You can secure your slot in advance with just a £20 deposit!

What is NIPT screening? 💭

A Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT) is a simple blood test, taken from the mother, from as early as 10 weeks into pregnancy.

This highly sensitive prenatal test measures the baby’s DNA that circulates in the mother’s blood during pregnancy, checking the number of chromosome copies and is able to give an indication as to whether certain chromosomal conditions are likely to be present. This test can also confirm the fetal s*x.

The NIPT process is similar to a routine blood test and is carried out by a qualified phlebotomist within our clinic. Your appointment also includes a reassurance scan by our qualified and experienced sonographer. Any questions get in touch! 🤍

Available from 24 to 34 weeks, but we do always recommend coming between 26 & 32 weeks to ensure best chance of seeing baby’s face!
