The shadow side of “love and light” and what real healing actually looks like....

I’ve written something today that feels quite vulnerable to share.

It’s taken me a long time to put words to this..... And to have the courage to write it

There’s a side of “healing” spaces that isn’t often spoken about — and I’ve experienced it firsthand.

The toxic side of spirituality.....

It's important to bring awareness to these issues...... so they no longer hold power over us

What looks like belonging can become dependency when a space is not held with integrity.

This is part of me speaking my truth, and part of my own healing.

✨ What a beautiful day at the Charles Burrell Centre, Thetford ✨

We’ve had such a lovely day at the Earth Spirit event, holding space, connecting, and sharing this work.

We offered a talk on shamanism, which was really well received, and we’re so grateful for the positive feedback. Gary did the opening and closing ceremony, and we all drummed together, which felt very special to be part of 💫

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the talk — your presence and openness truly meant so much.
And thank you to everyone who visited our stall, whether you purchased something, received healing, or simply came over to say hello — we truly appreciate each and every one of you 🤍

A special thank you to Dawn, Sarah, Louise, and the whole Earth Spirit team for such a wonderful and welcoming day. We always feel very blessed to be invited back and to be part of such a beautiful community.

✨ Trust the wisdom that lives inside you — your inner compass never lies. ✨

Over the years as a shamanic practitioner and sensitive soul,
I’ve learned the hard way what happens when I ignore my gut and my intuition.

I used to override that quiet knowing by:

Being polite instead of honest

Ignoring the knot in my stomach

Saying “yes” when every part of me was whispering “no”

Now I understand:
my gut instinct is my body’s messenger,
and my intuition is my Spirit’s messenger.
Together, they are my inner compass 🧭 — always guiding and protecting me.

I feel it when there’s discordant energy in a space and something just feels “off”.
I feel it when I know something is going to happen before it unfolds.
I feel it as a quiet pull towards what feels right — even when it doesn’t make sense on paper.

🔸 Let your gut instinct ground you, and your intuition guide you.
Together they are the compass of your soul. 🧭🔸

Today, I’m choosing to listen more deeply to my own inner compass —
and I invite you to do the same, in the way that feels right for you.

To trust your gut.
To honour your intuition.
To choose what feels aligned in your body and spirit,
even if others don’t understand.

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly and ask:
“Is this aligned for me?”

Trust the first sensation.
Trust the quiet whisper.
That is your truth.

🎄On Saturday 6th December we will be holding our Christmas fair in the church hall between 1-5pm. There will be lots of stalls. Healing will be available and 1-2-1 medium readings. Refreshments, mince pies, hot sausage rolls, and cakes will be available to purchase.

Mediums available on the day are;
Anne Clarke, Ann Munt, Loretta Piatto-Hill, Candice Benson, Carrie Blackery & Ryan Saunders.
Readings are £15 for 30 minutes. You can book on the day or If you would like to pre book please contact Gloria on 07947135176.

We have various stalls including; crystals, jewellery, Christmas gifts, bespoke items plus lots more! Perfect for all your Christmas gifts.

Healing is available throughout the day, no need to book.
