Closing one charity chapter and ready to open the next

Over the past year, our team has been proud to support as our Charity of the Year.

From fundraising evenings and Eurolympics, to football matches, hair shaving, games nights, bake sales and craft evenings, so many people got involved, raising over £4,000 along the way.

As this chapter comes to an end, we’re incredibly grateful for the memories made, the support shown, and the difference that collective effort has helped create.

Next up, we’ll be asking our team to nominate our next Charity of the Year.

As part of International Women’s Day, Europlaz recently made a donation to the charity Safer Places Domestic Abuse Support Services, which provides refuges for women, children and babies escaping domestic abuse in Essex and Hertfordshire.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff, we were able to donate a wide range of items, including well‑cared‑for second‑hand clothing and toys, as well as brand new toys, toiletries, hygiene products and nappies.

We’re delighted to hear that the women and children are already benefiting from the donated items. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.

An Easter visitor at Europlaz

The Easter Bunny popped in to spread a little seasonal cheer at Europlaz today.

While the Bunny wasn’t allowed into our cleanrooms (we’re still trying to find hairnets big enough for the ears, shoe covers and gloves to fit the paws… and a cleanroom suit suitable for the tail!), quality standards always come first.

That said, the Bunny did manage to catch some of our cleanroom operators during their break times.

A fun moment that brought a few smiles and a reminder that cleanroom rules apply to everyone… even the Easter Bunny!
