✨ Something a little spooky or maybe… not? ✨
When we first moved into our home, there was this old clock already hanging in what’s now the Reiki room. I didn’t think much of it until it started spinning.
Literally. The hands would suddenly whirr around and around at random times, sometimes multiple times a day. No pattern, no reason. We changed the batteries (twice!), checked everything… but it just kept happening.
It freaked most people out, but honestly? I kind of liked it. Before us and the previous owner lived here, that part of the house belonged to a lovely older lady, and I’ve always felt her presence.
Not long after, our firstborn arrived, and as he got older, he’d ask who was standing in the doorway. He could describe them, too. 👀
We’ve had so many visitors in this space over the years, and more than a few have felt something, or someone, gentle and familiar here. We got rid of the clock when we redecorated… but that peaceful, watchful energy still lingers sometimes.
