Too much protein can absolutely cause diarrhoea 💩💥
I saw a patient who was eating 4g of protein per kg on the advice of her trainer — and her gut was struggling.
Bloating, cramps, diarrhoea… all from pushing way beyond what her body needed.

Here’s the truth 👇
For most people, a healthy, effective target is 1.2–1.6g of protein per kg of ideal body weight — not 3–4x that amount.

More isn’t always better.
