Is peace your priority? I like this reminder to respectfully say no to people, places or things that donβt feel right for us or are not in line with our highest good, an aspect of which must be peace right? πππ
Protecting your peace is not something that you accomplish in one day. It involves self-awareness, making adjustments, and learning to realign with your evolving life. This is doable.
While we have no control over what other people do or what occurs in the outside world, we do have power over how we respond to those things, how we handle them, and how we decide to spend our time. Regardless of how it looks, prioritize your peace. It won't necessarily be simple to let go of people or things that are a source of negativity, but your peace and wellbeing have to come first. The peace you will experience will be SO worth the effort.
βLet today mark a new beginning for you. Give yourself permission to say NO without feeling guilty, mean, or selfish. Anybody who gets upset and/or expects you to say YES all of the time clearly doesnβt have your best interest at heart. Always remember: You have a right to say NO without having to explain yourself. Be at peace with your decisions.β - Stephanie Lahart
