💚 GREEN 💚
Green is the colour of nature and is associated with calm, relaxation, stress-relief, freshness, vitality and health.
Growth is enhanced, not just because of the links to nature, forests and plants, but with personal growth, productivity, piety and sincerity.
The gentle, yet invigorating colour incites connection to outdoor spaces, to ourselves and with others. Green embodies the mind-body connection fully.
Research has shown that metabolism is slowed when exposed to green, which in term allows tranquility to be perceived, similar to blue. Chromotherapy uses green to sooth anxiety and depression, as the nervous system finds ease and rest.
In yoga, the heart chakra is represented by green. An abundant heart chakra allows both giving and receiving of love, compassion, expansion, empathy, kindness, health and healing. When blocked we can feel loss, regret, pain, low self-love and low self-worth.
