One week since we said goodbye🇬🇧➡️🇸🇬

It’s been crazy, exhausting, overwhelming, exhilarating, sad, happy and hot so flippin’ HOT 🥵

Am not gonna lie saying goodbye to our loved ones hurt big-time ❤️‍🩹 I literally sobbed for 48 hours 😭 it was never going to be easy.

The dust now settles, jet-lag is easing and now we acclimatise to our new, different in every way surroundings. Just need to find somewhere to live in this steamy urban jungle 🌴

S**t just got real

Had the packers in today. What you see is 5 cubic metres of stuff 📦 professionally packed up and now in transit to Singapore 🚛🚢🇸🇬Having done this lark a few times before, we opted do early shipping as would rather go without our things for longer at this end which means receiving our shipment pretty soon after we arrive.

What were our non-negotiables?

📦 Sage coffee machine - lucky we have round the corner to keep me in flat whites for the next 7 weeks
📦 Our mattress (plus duvet and fave pillows)
📦 Kitchen Aid mixer - must have cake

Time for GO 🧳 ✈️ 🌏❤️

I talk a lot about the Mindfulness+Activity+Nutrition bit of MANGO. Now the time has come for me to lean in to some serious Growth+Opportunity

Later this summer we will be relocating to Singapore 🇸🇬

Initially I will be taking a pause to settle and recalibrate into my new space. I guess my biggest challenge is to go slow and not to rush into anything.
My mantra right now:
Have faith in yourself and trust in divine timings ✨✨

Just a girl (well, middle-aged woman) deeply passionate about sharing the importance and wisdom when it comes to creating wholesome delicious food to energise the body and nourish the soul ☺️

It feels like our lives have become v much about convenience and immediacy and when time-pushed we tend to look to the shortcuts which allow us to continue living our lives at a million miles an hour without stopping to think about whether the choices we’re making best serve us.

Ultra-processed foods (UPF) have become hot topic of late, maybe due to the fact the UK population eat more UPF than any other country in Europe, with a mahoosive 57% of our energy intake coming from UPF (this number is even higher in under 16’s) 😔

From my own personal experience of shifting to a 90% unprocessed diet, alongside coaching a number of clients on their 1:1 Lifestyle Reboot programs, it has honestly been such an eye-opener. I have witnessed the profound impact that dietary choices have on our overall health and wellbeing, and how mental health in particular can be affected HUGELY by the foods we eat.

As many of you have have discovered in my Good Mood Food cooking workshops, my recipes are rooted not only in the wisdom and science of eating for optimal health, but most importantly in the ease and joy of cooking and eating real food👩‍🍳😍

My latest feature from magazine 📰💙

You know me, I love the challenge of creating healthier versions of popular shop bought, ultra-processed products.

Sriracha is a store cupboard fave for many of us spice lovers and am yet to find one that isn’t loaded with synthetic thickeners, emulsifiers, gums, stabilisers and artifical flavourings - yuk!

This homemade version literally takes minutes to chuck everything into a roasting tray - then whizz up with a few bonus gut boosting ingredients and decant and into a sterilised jar or bottle - Simples! 🌶️🌶️♥️♥️

My Stretch, Mobility & Calm class is much more than just ‘a good stretch’.
By using a combination of conscious, connected breathing and extended exhales we become better breathers; allowing deeper expansion in our bodies and a powerful release of stuck tension held in muscles, joints and connective tissue.
We also feel calmer and more present in ourselves 😊
