There was a time I thought the only way to feel “good enough” was to be smaller.

I under-ate.
I overtrained.
And I punished myself when I didn’t hit unrealistic expectations.

From the outside, it probably looked like discipline.
But inside, it was exhausting.

I didn’t feel confident.
I didn’t feel strong.
And I definitely didn’t feel happy.

Fast forward to now…

I train to feel strong.
I eat to support my body.
And I’ve built a mindset that actually allows me to enjoy the process.

That didn’t happen overnight — but it did happen when I stopped fighting myself and started working with my body instead of against it.

Sometimes we’re so focused on where we want to get to…
that we forget how far we’ve already come.

If you’re new to the gym, it’s easy to feel like you need to do everything at once.

More exercises.
More weight.
More intensity.

But confidence in the gym doesn’t come from doing more…

It comes from slowing down, learning the movements properly, and getting a little bit stronger each week.

Focus on your own progress.
Don’t rush through your exercises.
Keep it simple, consistent, and intentional.

That’s how real strength (and real confidence) is built.

Over 30g of protein and under 150 calories.

All I used was 3 egg whites + 1 scoop of protein powder.

Whip the egg whites until fluffy, gently fold the protein powder in, then cook them for around 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.

You can make them sweet or savoury depending on what you fancy.

If I was making them sweet, I’d probably add a little Truvia.
If I wanted savoury, I’d skip the sweetener and maybe add some cheese instead.

Obviously the calories will depend on what you add and the toppings you choose, but the ones I made here were over 30g protein and less than 150 calories.

Simple, high-protein, and actually really nice.

Last year I nearly gave up on these jeans.

I could barely sit down in them…
they felt tight, uncomfortable, and like a reminder that my body wasn’t where I wanted it to be.

But instead of giving up, I got a coach - knuckled down and decided to get me back. BUT BETTER!

Eating and training consistently, looking after myself, and showing up even when motivation wasn’t there.

Fast forward to this year…

Now they’re hanging off me.

That’s what consistency does.
Not overnight results. Not quick fixes.

Just small choices, repeated over time.

And that’s exactly what I help other women do too.

Not constantly pulling them down.
Not worrying about what my legs looked like when I sat down.

Just comfortable… in my own skin.

And the truth is, that confidence didn’t come from one quick fix.

It came from getting stronger, building better habits, and showing up for myself consistently.
