BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT
We often hold ourselves back without realising it. But everyone has the potential to make real progress. Our best advice? Believe that you can.

Whether it’s making small changes to your diet, moving a bit more each day, increasing your exercise reps, or gently starting with weights, every step counts. Book the scan if you’ve been putting it off. Squat a little deeper. Drink more water. Learn how to relax. Do more of what you enjoy.

Whatever your goals, get the support and advice you need. Because you absolutely can make progress.

WHAT DO YOU WISH FOR YOUR HEALTH & WELLBEING?
Our patients often come to us with a clear goal in mind, whether it’s running a 10k, keeping up with the grandchildren, or taking on a new physical challenge. We’ll always use your personal focus to guide your treatment, but at The Treatment Rooms, our aim goes far beyond that.

Our shared mission is to help you build a strong foundation of health that empowers you to keep doing the things you love, for as long as possible.

Our wish is for you to live freely, without the constant distraction of symptoms and ailments, and to function at your very best. We do this by taking a truly holistic approach, supporting all of your body’s systems: joints, muscles, hormones, sleep, digestion, energy, hearing. These essential foundations don’t change whether you’re 22 or 92, and we’re proud to say we help people with all of this every single day.

So whether you’re planning your next big challenge, recovering from an injury, looking to enjoy a pain free walk along the prom or simply wanting to feel better in everyday life, we’re here to help.

Let us know how we can support you.

To keep us all up to date and continuing to learn about our subject we’re required to complete regular CPD (continued professional development) and some of those hours can be around case discussions. Turns out great when we can combine it with walking in the sunshine by the sea!!

After the dullness of winter, our mind and skin can feel the same. Karen uses aromatherapy, reflexology, and wellness massage to meet just what you need. Think warm couch, beautiful music, and calming low lights - while Karen uses reflexology points or aromatherapy massage blends on your feet, face, or body - to help you feel relaxed yet fresh, bright, and awakened from winter.

It’s great to get active, and we’re here to support that! However, after the slower, less active winter months, it can sometimes lead to symptoms or injuries. If you want to address niggles before you start or treat any symptoms that have begun, see one of our Musculoskeletal Practitioners - Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, or Sports Therapists. We’ll provide the diagnosis, reassurance, advice, and treatment to keep you doing what you love!

We’re so happy to add Skye to our list of therapist. As a Sports Therpist Skye is here to help you with all sorts of aches and pains as well as sports injuries. That’s because sports injuries happen to anyone who is active at any level so don’t feel you need to be sporty to see her! She does an incredible Sports Massage too, and that’s a regular style massage but can be deeper to get into those aches and pains!

It’s a pretty great commute and feeling so much better to be walking in the sunshine. It’s a great way to build up the steps but if you have to drive to work maybe park a little further away and enjoy the steps and fresh air before work?

John has been visiting STR on and off for the past 3 - 4 years since moving to the area. As a retired farmer with two hip replacements, he often experiences stiffness and discomfort in his lower back, shoulder, and neck. We’ve been helping him manage these symptoms using a combination of joint mobilisations, soft tissue massage, and exercise.

With regular treatment, John reached a point where he was managing well, needing less frequent sessions as he continued his exercises at home alongside our management advice. However, after a recent fall onto his shoulder, he booked in again. Given his pre-existing rotator cuff tear and shoulder weakness, we’ve been treating him weekly to ease acute symptoms and support a gradual return to activity. His pain is now settling, and he has started strengthening exercises alongside hands-on treatment.

John has often tried to describe the difference between physiotherapy and osteopathy. While he acknowledges they’re different, putting it into words isn’t easy. Our advice? Trust that our practitioners are highly trained and experienced - book in, and we’ll guide you from there.
