The eligible groups for this year’s autumn Covid-19 booster have changed compared to previous years.
This autumn, only the following patients will be invited:

• People aged 75 years and over

• Patients who are immunocompromised

Seasonal Flu Vaccine – Autumn 2025

The flu vaccine will be offered to:

• People aged 65 years and over

• Patients at clinical risk, for example:

- Those with chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD or severe asthma

- People with diabetes

- Those with weakened immune systems due to illness or treatment

Clinics and Appointment Invitations

Vaccination clinics will begin in October 2025.
We will contact eligible patients by text message or by letter when it is time to book your appointment.
Please do not contact the practice to request a booking before you receive your invitation.

Housebound Patients

If you are housebound and eligible for either the Covid-19 or flu vaccination, we will contact you directly to advise of the date of your visit. There is no need to call us – we will be in touch.

Protect Yourself This Winter

Both Covid-19 and flu can cause serious illness, especially in older adults and those with certain health conditions. Vaccination remains the best protection.
