’s comment on class last night made me laugh and is so true, there is nothing like keeping your form in multiple sun salutations, finding decent alignment in uttitha trikonasana or balancing on your hands to remind you that yoga is about strength (as well as stretching and mobility)!

Having a bit of a wobble…should I change the name of my long standing Friday morning class? Originally it was called Stretch & Breathe, which was accurate but a mouthful, so it became Gentle Yoga. But I’m not sure it really is that ‘gentle’, as I like to move fast and not dick around, we have bodies (with niggles!) that need to be worked and minds that need to be kept busy. I want you to breathe in my class but not have time to think about your food shopping list until savasana 😉 it’s kind of like an active flow class that doesn’t involve downward dog or sun salutations. Like an extended warm up. Part of today’s class in the reel, some bits obviously sped up and most of the actual speed I think we go. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
